The opportunity for overwhelm, especially with the baby boomer generation in dealing with the belongings of their parents who have died and now have put it all in storage, can be a daunting task. Not only do we have to deal with the belongings, there is the issue of dealing with the emotions and grief of the death as well.
Every possession gets placed in a storage room to be dealt with at a later time. Sometimes it becomes so overwhelming, that time never comes and it stays on our minds like a broken record of the need to finally go and take care of it.
The tokens and mementos of childhood and years gone by is mixed in with everything the deceased parent owned. While the desire is there to retrieve these items, sometimes the thought of just opening the door to the storage room can make one feel completely overwhelmed.
If this sounds like something you are dealing with, Declutter Your Life With Caroline is here to assist you. Again, I bring my coaching and mentoring skills to the project to guide you through. You can do this and sometimes you just need a little help and companionship while working through it.
